The Moor's Head
Middle Eastern$$
This Middle Eastern restaurant might bill itself as 'inauthentic pizza' but in every respect it's the real deal - from some of the most attentive service in town to culinary surprises that keep on giving. The pizzas come in two styles: manoushes are the familiar discs, while pide are folded like boats. You might start with the 'Beiruti', with a generous crust of zaatar topped with cool labna, tomato, olives and rocket; then move on to the more hearty 'Shams of Tabriz', where silky eggplant melts into a tomato, feta and parsley base. Finish with tea from the samovar.
