Rinaldo Di Stasio’s northside restaurant is the embodiment of a Roman holiday. The courtyard is tailor-made for aperitivo hour, and the swish interior feels more like a gallery than a dining room. Add the intersection of produce and place, and there’s no finer spot to indulge in the comforts of the Italian canon.

Arancini oozing cheesy bolognese revives the Sicilian snack, and charry-crusted pizza does its own heavy lifting. Go luxe with the signature lobster or stay faithful to the Naples-mandated classic margherita.

On warm weekends the whole place roars with Bacchanalian fun but meticulous attention to detail is at the heart of this operation. You’ll see it in the waiters’ schmick designer outfits, the silver trays delivering the perfect bloody margarita, and the nicely caramelised guanciale anointing the city’s best take on carbonara. Bravo.
