For the reluctant milk drinker there is nothing wrong with adding flavouring to encourage enjoyment. Research has shown that children who drink milk are often taller and have healthier bones and body weights than those who don't.

Ingredients
500ml (2 cups) milk, well chilled
1 tsp natural vanilla extract
sugar, to taste
Method
Step 1
Put the milk, vanilla extract and sugar into a large bowl or blender and whisk or blend for 20 seconds to combine.
Step 2
Pour into two long cups and serve with straws for fun.
