HOW IT WENT

As a sex writer and regular toy tester, I’ve seen brands make wild promises that often fall short. So did the Vibe live up to the hype as a noiseless lay-on clitoral vibrator?

IS IT AS SUPER SILENT AS IT CLAIMS?

It’s a loud YES from me! This toy surpassed all of my expectations when I read “silence” on the box. There’s just this low rumbling, which could actually just be my own body getting more turned on, but it literally doesn’t make a peep, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the experience.

Which means it’s definitely housemate approved.

HOW POWERFUL WAS THE TOY?

When I read that one reviewer got there in 60 seconds flat, I thought she was having us on.

And then it happened to me.

USER FRIENDLY?

While the plus and minus buttons are very self explanatory, I did find it a tad tricky to know if the Autopilot function was working, and even crazier, it took me ages to get it to turn the toy off. But the instructions helped and now it’s no problem.

The Vibe is also waterproof meaning you can take it anywhere the mood strikes.

EASY TO CLEAN?

With a smooth surface, no nooks or crannies, or even hardware that you have to remove, it could not be easier to scrub the Vibe clean.

VERDICT: IS IT WORTH BUYING

If you’re a bullet fan who thrives off the pressure of a high-powered device then the Vibe may miss the mark with its UltraWave Vibration technology that builds up pleasure and spreads it out.

But if making a ruckus is your worst nightmare, then yes, the utter lack of sound created by this small inaudible device is worth its weight in gold for those seeking discreet pleasure with no distractions.

And if you’re a lay-on lover, then this is definitely the toy for you.
