Hundreds of creative cosplayers and gaming fans were set for an epic adventure to the Melbourne Oz Comic Con Xmas edition on the weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, attendees flocked to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Wharf where all characters from some of the most popular comics and games came to life.

There was an overwhelming but impressive choice of activities for all to experience, including getting to meet Welsh actor Matt Ryan and American voice actress Tara Sands, a music and entertainment stage, cosplay parades, an exhibitor and artist directory, tabletop gaming, and a tattoo alley.

On top of all that were multiple exhibitions guests checked out and purchased their favourite merchandise.

All attendees were encouraged to use their imagination and get into the festive spirit by dressing up as their favourite characters and add some Christmas flair.

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre has held many other successful events this year, including the Melbourne Oz Comic Con Exhibition in June, The Animaga Expo in August and the PAX Aus Convention in October.

The Herald Sun also made an appearance to capture pictures of cosplayers and their friends, and many striked a pose for the camera.
