Hundreds of anime fans dressed up in creative and impressive costumes to flock to the sold out Animaga Expo 2024. Check out the full picture gallery from day one and two.

Hundreds of cosplayers prepared for a massive weekend at the Animage Expo, with the event completely sold out.

Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday and Sunday, guests experienced the drawing area, stalls offering merchandise, plamo workshops and much more.

Following the success from 2023's expo, Animaga was even bigger and better as the floorspace was doubled in size.

The excitement didn’t stop there — there was also an Animaga X idol box after-party, where everyone enjoyed an exhilarating night of music and dancing as they listened to performances from top idols and bands in a dynamic battle-of-the-bands format.

The after-party kicked off at 7pm on Saturday, with a line-up that featured Wooly, Nakano Himawar, CTRP, ÉTUDE, MOEMONSTA, Polarity, LUMETEOR, NA-E, Seiryou Process, and Z E R.

The Herald Sun also joined in on the thrilling experience to capture pictures of all attendees dressed up in their favourite costumes.
