The PAX Aus Convention 2024: All the pictures and gaming action

The PAX Aus Convention made its way to Melbourne on the weekend, where gaming fans experienced an impressive expo display. Check out all the pictures captured so far.

The PAX Aus Convention made its way to Melbourne on the weekend, where gaming fans experienced an impressive expo display.

Gaming fans flocked to the 2024 PAX Aus Convention at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre this weekend, to experience a range of different expos and activities.

The convention kicked off from 10am to 11pm on both Friday and Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.

The three-day event was a celebration of both gaming and gaming culture featuring thought-provoking panels, a massive expo hall filled with the best publishers and independent studios, musical performances, tournaments and game demos.

Some iconic companies guests got to see at PAX included Bethesda, Blizzard Entertainment, Devolver, FINAL FANTASY XIV Online, PC Game Pass, Playside Studios, SEGA, Steam, The Sims, Ubisoft and more.

PAX consists of three different areas, including the “Expo Hall”, “Pax Rising” and “Tabletop”.

Pax Rising houses the best of the independent development scene, highlighting the largest selection of “exciting indie” tabletop and video games for everyone’s enjoyment.

And in the Tabletop section, guests met up with their friends and played a whole host of board games and role playing games (RPGs).

The event comes after the Animaga Expo that was held in August, which was completely sold out.

Cosplayers brought their favourite characters to life and striked a pose for the camera.
