A Ticketek manager whose request to “work from home” while he holidayed in South Korea was rebuffed has lost his case that his boss’ action was so unreasonable it forced him to resign.

The Fair Work Commission upheld Ticketek’s direction that customer solutions manager Mark Stoodley had to take annual leave for his overseas trip rather than work remotely from his hotel room in Seoul due to concerns such arrangements were contrary to his approved work-from-home set-up.
