McManus cautions against push for total WFH

Australian Council of Trade Unions secretary Sally McManus has warned of the unintended consequences of working from home, saying it could further entrench gender inequalities and worsen workers’ mental health.

Although she backed a push by unions to include work from home rights in enterprise agreements, Ms McManus said unions were supporting a hybrid model and that workers did not want a situation of total remote working.
