Ousted CFMEU officials left in charge of $7m trust

Ousted CFMEU officials, including ex-NSW branch leader Darren Greenfield, have been left in charge of a union-related fund that controls several million dollars, some four months since the union went into administration.

Corporate records confirm Mr Greenfield still acts as a director on the Committee to Defend Trade Union Rights, which is the trustee to a fund that received $7 million in NSW branch members’ money in 2005 when the union sought to protect its assets from government control.
