Coal miners turn on One Nation over IR bill ‘betrayal’

Coal miners who backed One Nation have accused the party of a “disgusting betrayal” over its support for laws that prevent casuals claiming holiday pay on top of their loading, threatening the party’s support in Queensland and NSW.

One Nation’s star NSW candidate, Stuart Bonds, has also voiced his disappointment about senators Pauline Hanson’s and Malcolm Roberts’ vote for the government’s industrial relations bill, saying it was a total “180” from their past support for casuals.
