Two CFMEU delegates, including a former Sydney gang member, are under investigation for allegedly taking more than $10,000 worth of steel from a major government project and selling it for cash.

Tier-one builder Roberts Co is conducting an internal investigation into the alleged conduct on the Minns government’s $600 million Westmead Hospital project in Sydney’s west, which forms part of the largest hospital redevelopment project in the state.
