Celebrity chef and restaurateur Opel Khan and one of his fine dining restaurants that charged up to $300 a head are facing court over the alleged underpayment of migrant workers.

The Fair Work Ombudsman has launched Federal Court action against the Metisse Bar and Restaurant Group that operated Mr Khan’s French-inspired hatted venue, the Metisse at Sydney’s Potts Point, for allegedly failing to back-pay two underpaid workers and has alleged Mr Khan was personally involved in the breaches.
