No female CEOs were appointed to ASX 200 companies in 2021 in a torrid year for gender diversity at the pinnacle of corporate Australia.

Among the biggest 300 companies, only one woman was appointed to the top job – Cathy O’Connor at oOh!media, an outdoor advertising company.
