Julie Batch, chief executive of NRMA Insurance, comes from a long line of insurers.

She grew up in Norfolk, a county north-east of London and once home to Norwich Union, formerly the United Kingdom’s largest insurer but has since been folded into the London-listed Aviva insurance group.
