Lawrence Lam is managing director and founder of Lumenary Investment Management, a firm that focuses on founder-led companies. He lives in West Melbourne.
How did you get into basketball? Like every ’90s kid, I was certain I’d be the next Michael Jordan. Despite not making it as a professional, my love for the game never faded. It all began with a makeshift hoop nailed to a tree and a half-flat ball that barely bounced. These days, I play for the thrill, the workout and, of course, the art of friendly trash talk.
