A leading software provider to schools, Compass Education, is expanding its office space and reverting to a more traditional idea of the workplace in a sign of the changes being forced by the pandemic.

Compass, which provides an IT platform for schools to run day-to-day operations and teach classes, has trebled its floor space in a move from Balwyn in Melbourne's east to Hawthorn – which puts it at the heart of a tech hub and closer to the CBD.
