Graduate jobs market comes off the boil

Australia’s graduate job market has been red-hot, but there are early signs that the number of roles has started to wane.

The red-hot jobs market for recent university graduates has started to go off the boil, but the number of available positions is still markedly higher than before the pandemic.

Following two years of almost exponential growth in supply of graduate roles, with salaries breaking historical records, new data reveals job volumes are high, but tracking 20 per cent lower in early 2024 than for the same time last year.
