Companies that have embraced the four-day workweek argue there has been no drop in productivity, staff are happier, and it’s easier to recruit. But it’s a perk that only a few employers are likely to offer.
Post-lockdown, a small group of bosses in Australia have emerged as evangelists for the four-day workweek.
Their teams are small or medium-sized, typically working in tech, consulting and other professional services business – and on Fridays the Slack channels are silent.
