It’s been a big year in strata and 2024 is shaping up to be even more challenging, with the crisis in housing affordability being met with promises to build great swaths of apartment blocks with the speed – but not necessarily the skills – of a Lego Masters grand final.
Add into the mix two new state premiers and another who’s barely got his feet under the desk – all of whom will have to address their various strata policies, some of which have as many defects as a high-rise slapped up by a dodgy developer during the last apartment boom.
