HR tech firm raises $45m amid remote working boom

Australian human resources technology company Employment Hero has been valued at more than $250 million in a new $45 million funding round, as it seeks to accelerate international expansion, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, through remote working.

The fresh funding round, first flagged by Street Talk, was led by existing backer SEEK, with OneVentures and AirTree Ventures also investing again after involvement in previous rounds. A notable new name among the investors in the fresh round is Salesforce Ventures.
