Founder fights and investor fury exposed as Uber makes its case

Lawyers for ride-sharing giant Uber have revealed private emails showing investors in its fallen rival GoCatch were already giving up hope of it succeeding around the time UberX launched in Australia, and wanted to fire its founders.

Uber is defending itself against the charge of deliberately harming GoCatch’s business, causing it to fail, and revealed numerous explosive emails in a bid to show GoCatch was failing due to its own problems, rather than Uber’s interference.
