Former NSW minister Victor Dominello and other public sector heads are planning a credential similar to the respected Australian Institute of Company Directors’ program to equip public service executives and partner organisations for leadership in the digital age.
The proposed new credential comes after the robo-debt royal commission revealed deep gaps in understanding of the design of digital debt-collecting systems, and continued high-profile technology project failures. This includes dumping the $500 million business registry modernisation project, announced on Monday.
