Next week it will be a year since the Albanese government’s decision to redesign the stage three tax cuts to ensure they were distributed across income levels, rather than just going to those on higher incomes.

You can be sure, in the already fetid campaign environment, that the government will be wanting to remind people not only of that decision, but also that Peter Dutton didn’t back it.
