Is Dutton’s election pitch looking stale?
The Coalition is relying on the disgruntlement of voters with the government, rather than actively producing serious policies to do anything about it.

You can be sure, in the already fetid campaign environment, that the government will be wanting to remind people not only of that decision, but also that Peter Dutton didn’t back it.
