‘I’m up for it’: Albanese on boosting watchdog powers for supermarkets

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says if the competition watchdog wants stronger powers to investigate claims of price gouging by the supermarket giants, he is up for providing them.
But the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission says it is up to the government to ask it to take up the role.
