Demographics explain how we voted on Saturday

The haves voted to share their wealth, the have-nots wanted someone to notice them, too.

Whether we like it or not, the No voters won this referendum, and a discussion of the who, the where and the why is probably long overdue.

It’s too late for the New Zealand Labour Party, of course, but the signs are our No-voting demographics just installed a new centre-right coalition government across the ditch.
