Eight digital tech giants have committed to verify advertisers and screen ads for suspicious content as part of a new industry online scam code in Australia.
Amid delays establishing a formal government code to combat scams, Google, Meta, Yahoo, X (formerly known as Twitter), Snap, TikTok, Discord and Twitch have pledged to increase their protections by signing on to the new industry code.
