Opposition Leader Peter Dutton says Greens senator Lidia Thorpe must leave parliament after failing to declare she was in a relationship with the former president of an outlaw motorcycle gang while sitting on a parliamentary committee that examines bikie gangs.
Greens leader Adam Bandt sacked Senator Thorpe from her leadership role with the Greens on Thursday after the ABC revealed she “briefly dated” the ex-president of the Rebels bikie gang in Victoria, Dean Martin, while she was sitting on the joint parliamentary law enforcement committee.
