Greens senator Lidia Thorpe says she won’t campaign against an Indigenous Voice to parliament, rejecting claims by businessman Warren Mundine that she had been enlisted to lead the fight against Constitutional recognition.
Mr Mundine, a Labor Party president turned Liberal candidate, said he met with Senator Thorpe to discuss ramping up a co-ordinated ‘No’ campaign, ahead of the referendum expected in 2023 or early 2024.
