Bipartisan whack for Latham, but he probably won’t be kicked out

The Minns government and NSW opposition have combined to denounce independent MP Mark Latham’s workplace conduct, including allegedly taking covert photos of female colleagues in the upper house in breach of standing orders.

But despite the possibility Latham will be referred to a privileges committee for investigation, both Labor and the opposition recognised on Thursday it would be difficult to eject him from the NSW parliament despite the latest controversy.
