Most expect virus hit to economy will last longer
More Australians expect the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the economy will last longer than first thought, but they're are now feeling less financially and emotionally stressed than during the strict lockdown.
The latest weekly survey from the Melbourne Institute shows there has been a rise in the proportion of respondents expecting the impact of the pandemic to last for more than 12 months, jumping to 57 per cent from 46 per cent the week before.
