Central banks, traders brush off fears of Trump-led inflation spike

Markets expect the US Federal Reserve and the Bank of England to push ahead with further rate cuts despite the looming prospect of higher inflation under a second Donald Trump presidency.
Overnight on Thursday, both central banks cut their benchmark interest rates for a second time in three months.
