Labor leader Anthony Albanese is reserving his options on tax policy, including whether to try to revoke the stage three tax cuts if elected, due to the damage caused to the budget by the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking at The Australian Financial Review Business Summit on Wednesday, Mr Albanese claimed vindication for warning some years ago that the government should not commit to such a massive income tax cut when it did not know what the state of the budget would be in 2024.
