G20 expects global recession, IMF called on by 80 countries

Finance ministers and central bank governors of the G20 have conceded that the global economy is headed for a recession and that "co-ordinated fiscal action" is now warranted.
Already 80 countries have approached the International Monetary Fund seeking support to deal with the economic impacts of the coronavirus.
