Even after a $3000 bike mishap, this manager didn’t stop pedalling

A mountain descent in France proved costly for Mars Wrigley’s Xavier Shortal but, after months of lockdown, he’s keen for more adventures abroad. He answers our Time Out Q&A.

What’s your first memory of riding a bike?
The first day I rode my bike to school, when I was around six or seven. I was a little scared but extremely excited to experience my first real taste of freedom and independence.
