“We have six AOs lunching here today,” says Brett Robinson of his new three-level restaurant complex in Martin Place, in Sydney’s civic heart. “And two former prime ministers in the past week.”

That’s almost all you need to know about The Grill at The International, courtesy of Robinson’s The Point restaurant group (which opened Shell House in 2021). It may be a premium dining experience, but it’s also neighbourhood dining, in that the neighbours include the city’s biggest investment bankers, law firms and luxury brands.
