The Queensland Investment Corporation's global head of infrastructure, Ross Israel, says "it won't be an easy recovery" for the Australian economy after COVID-19, forecasting baby boomers will be reluctant to risk their health and jump back on cruise ships and planes.
"The world might become quite local for a little while," Mr Israel told The Australian Financial Review. "The recovery is going to see a distinct lack of positive sentiment to travel until there is a vaccine."
