Pay as you drive and flexible fares key to busting congestion
Road user charges and flexible public transport fares are key to busting city congestion, Infrastructure Victoria argues in its 30-year plan released on Wednesday.
The plan spells out key priorities for the state's future projects including a new cross-town metro service – Melbourne Metro Two – a second port at Bay West Port with connecting freight lines, as well as urging the government to make plans to complete a version of the controversial East West Link road.
