The Star’s executives will be grilled in public hearings over allegations of money laundering and infiltration by organised crime figures at its Australian casinos, ramping up the pressure on the casino operator to explain itself to the NSW gambling regulator.
The casino operator’s executives and board members, including chief executive Matt Bekier, will likely be called to account for their knowledge and handling of money laundering and organised crime risks at its casinos in NSW and Queensland.
