Evolution Mining boss Jake Klein is one of the industry leaders hailing a remarkable renaissance in the Australian gold sector as it continues to outperform its international peers.

Mr Klein has warned it will take more than five good years to shake the boom-and-bust stigma the sector carries with non-believers, but is excited by the progress as the numbers start to stack up.
