New ANZ boss Matos is in a hurry. That’s good news for customers

ANZ Bank’s new chief executive Nuno Matos has a clear message for customers frustrated by the slow roll-out of the bank’s new digital platform Plus: he’s on it.

On his first day in the job, Matos told the bank’s 42,000 staff he wanted to accelerate customer migration onto Plus, built under the guidance of retail boss Maile Carnegie and costing $400 million a year.
