Life insurer apologises for ‘unfortunate mistake’

One of Australia’s fastest growing insurance companies will apologise to hundreds of Australian customers for an “unfortunate mistake” that withheld time sensitive information about a rise in premiums for more than seven weeks.
Customers of Resolution Life were this week told the cost of their life insurance would rise in line with inflation on February 2, in letters that were dated December 2.
