Judge dumps pirate fund's bid to squash rebel vote

A judge has ruled against attempts to kill off a rebel shareholder meeting, in a case involving claims about missing fax numbers and investor democracy.

Even if notices of shareholder meetings contained errors, Queensland Supreme Court Judge Peter Applegarth said, the law allowed the ability to correct them to ensure shareholders were not left substantially worse off.
