‘Action initiation’ will empower customers to make use of their data

If the consumer data right allowed customers to direct new service providers to take actions on their behalf, the regime will become much more effective creating competitive markets and a competitive advantage for the country, said the author of a Treasury review to keep Australia at the forefront of global data-sharing policy.
