Accounting standards made us do it, iSignthis tells court

Lawyers acting for iSignthis say the payment services group was complying with accounting standards, denying allegations that it booked $3 millions of revenue in order for management to realise lucrative performance rights.

In the second day of Federal Court hearings, iSignthis barrister Peter Collinson KC laid out the defence of allegations that the company and its chief executive John Karantzis breached continuous disclosure obligations and made false representations.
