What if Jamie Dimon is right on higher interest rates?

Stocks and bonds are priced for the number to fall as inflation fades. But JPMorgan’s CEO says banks, firms and investors should prepare for a different outcome.

It’s a mark of Jamie Dimon’s influence as JPMorgan chief executive that the biggest question at the bank’s annual investor day has centred on his retirement plans.

Dimon, who arrived on stage to theme music from Rocky, repeated his well-worn line: he knows he can’t go on forever, but he ain’t going anywhere soon.
