White Horse Hotel
13/20
Contemporary$$
It's hard to miss this elegant space thanks to their illuminated namesake bucking outside. Head to the dining room where a blackboard showcases chef You-ming Kwong's sweeping menu. You'll find everything from tapas to shared plates with Thai or Middle Eastern influences, plus classic pub grub. A chunky kingfish ceviche comes dressed with grapefruit but feels more like a crudo, and if you're really feeling peckish you'll find classics such as duck confit or a decent burger. It can get a little loud and the staff sometimes get caught up in the bustle, but it's great if you like being in the thick of it.
