Clovelly Hotel
15/20
Contemporary$$
The Cloey's large, breezy spaces refurbished in eye-catching industrial chic provide plenty of room for prams on a weekday and loud footy crowds on the weekend. The menu has a wide selection of pub standards as well as a few classier selections such as the beef from the grill. You can choose a marble score of two or three and add gourmet sauces such as chermoula and misa picchu merkin (Chilean rub paste, seeded mustard and roasted shallot). The lamb pizza is a thin, crispy slice of strong Mediterranean flavours, and the pork belly linguine tangy and generous. The service is polite and efficient.
