A 31-year-old Toowoomba woman charged with more than 60 alleged offences had her case mention in court, along with her co-accused.

Candace Amy Derksen was arrested in Toowoomba in July 2022, and has been remanded in custody, allegedly linked to numerous beauty salon burglaries with co-accused Bud-Dee Glazbrook, 29.

Ms Derksen was not required in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Thursday, October 20, however her solicitor Claire Graham of Skuse Graham Lawyer, who was also representing Mr Glazbrook on the day, told the court she had only forwarded a submission for Ms Derksen the previous night.

This was due to the “large number of charges”, and asked for an adjournment to allow enough time for the prosecution and arresting officers to approve or dismiss the submission.

Ms Derksen has not as yet been required to enter any pleas to her charges which include a series of alleged burglaries, unlawful use of motor vehicles, stealing, receiving, fraud, wilful damage, obstructing police and one count of threatening violence.

Ms Derksen was remanded in custody, with the duo’s cases to be mentioned in the court on November 17.

Mr Glazbrook has been remanded on bail.
