Two people on multiple charges arising from alleged burglaries and other matters across Toowoomba and Brisbane have appeared back in the city’s Magistrates Court.

Candace Amy Derksen, 31, and Bud-Dee Glazbrook, 29, are each facing charges arising from a number of burglaries including those of a series of beauty salons in the district.

Ms Derksen has been held in custody since her arrest in July and was not required to be in court where she was represented by solicitor Claire Graham of Skuse Graham Lawyers.

Mr Glazbrook appeared beside his solicitor Alan Phillips who asked for an adjournment and a change to his client’s bail conditions that would allow him to reside in the Redland Bay area while on remand.

Neither accused has been required to enter any pleas to their respective charges.

Ms Derksen is facing more than 60 charges including burglaries, unlawful use of motor vehicles, stealing, fraud, receiving tainted property, obstructing police and one count of threatening violence.

Ms Graham said her client was expected to “take a certain course” with her matters when next she appeared in court.

Magistrate Gary Finger remanded her in custody and adjourned her matters to September 27 while Mr Glazbrook was remanded on bail with conditions to appear back in the same on the same date.
